N2M was selected to lead an Enterprise Software Selection for a newly acquired Portfolio Company for a global Private Equity firm that focuses on buyouts of mid-market companies. The portfolio company is a global manufacturer and distributor of parts and accessories. N2M has a long-standing relationship with the Private Equity firm and has provided various services for multiple portfolio companies.
The portfolio company was running an outdated, on premise ERP system that was highly customized. They had numerous divisions running disparate systems. Their objective was to select an new Cloud-based ERP system and consolidate the systems to a standardized global system.
The company was also growing rapidly through acquisitions and wanted a platform for growth.
The company had multiple issues and challenges:
- Lack of integration between systems
- Outdated legacy systems
- High customizations
- Old and outdated infrastructure
- Multiple manual processes
- Numerous applications, products and divisions
- No standardization across products in business entities
- Difficulty to generate executive reports
N2M led the selection, identifying specific systems that were a potential fit for the clients business, specialized industry, size and budget. N2M successfully led the selection. N2M brought specific industry knowledge and best practices that were critical to the client’s success, as well as in-depth ERP knowledge that allowed our team to expedite processes and procedures.
N2M was further engaged to lead the ERP consolidation and implementation of a global Cloud-based ERP solution.
